A wine of bright yellow colour with greenish hues. On the nose it boasts elderflower and passionflower, as well as gooseberries, red grapefruit, and pomelo. In the background grassy and balsamic notes can be sensed, and even flint stone, which indicates the wine’s complexity. On the palate it is convincingly grassy, yet at the same time fruity. Full of surprises, pleasant and spicy, distinctively multi-layered, with a long sequence of new flavours that flow into a long aftertaste. An elegant, harmonious wine with a distinct mineral character. The Erzetič Sauvignon is an excellent aperitif and the perfect wine to enjoy with family and friends, as its complexity leads to great social gathering accompanied by various dishes. It is recommended to be served particularly with vegetable egg omelettes, asparagus, spring salads, and fresh cheeses such as mozzarella, but especially with dishes with fish and shellfish and the Mediterranean cuisine which is known for its abundance of tomatoes and basil.
