Ramnista is a single-vineyard Xinomavro from the Ramnista blocks of Kir-Yianni's home estate in Naoussa. The name means "royal hill" in the local dialect, a nod to the rolling slopes the estate is known for. It shows everything that makes Xinomavro exciting: rare aromatic complexity, firm tannins and lively acidity.
Ruby red, with vibrant cherries, sour cherries and plums alongside spice and a touch of chocolate. The palate is intense, with ripe fruit, structured tannins and a persistent, concentrated finish, all in fine balance. Each parcel is vinified separately, fermented in French oak vats and stainless steel, and the wine matures for 14 months in French oak barrels. Built to age: enjoy now after decanting or keep it in the cellar for years.
