Wine is produced by the process of very long maceration lasting for 18 days and it is aged in oak barrels (barriques) for 22 months which gives the wine a very mature bouquet. The wine is dense and has a ruby red color. Its fragrance is reminiscent of ripe and cooked red fruit, jam and herbs. At tasting this wine is full, with pronounced tannins and aroma of ripe forest fruits, jam, dry plum, chocolate and herbal notes. The characteristics of this wine show great potential for aging. It is great accompaniment to mature cheeses, fresh sausages, red meat and wild game meat.
