Beautifully deep gold color that stands out, intense body. It indicates a very special care in the vineyard and in the cellar. Inviting intense scents of matured white fruits, dried apricots. Cleary noticeable aromas of dried flowers, coconut, mature herbs and spices. Just a hint of wood, a little bit of vanilla. The wine is nicely warm and soft, fairly fresh, marly. A gentle and nice trace of tannins. Very intense and rich flavor, elegant and full bodied, with a nice harmony at the end. It goes wonderfully with roast beef or pork in sauce and roasted veal or lamb in mild sauces. Also a great combination with a strong minestrone, matured cheeses or home-made prosciutto.
