You can tell immediately that this is a long-term nurtured red wine from a selected well matured grapes of merlot and cabernet sauvignon. An inviting deep, almost non translucent ruby red color with shades of grenade. On the nose you can notice elegant aromas of matured red fruits, raspberries, late black cherry and black currant. A nice scent of red roses, field violets, hay and herbs. In the back spices and delicate scent wood that does not overcome the typical aromas of merlot and cabernet sauvignon. Warmth, softness and an impressively preserved freshness with minerality and balanced tannins. The taste is intensive, very persistent, elegant, full bodied. This wine has still some time before it reaches the top of its maturity. It will go well with main meat dishes, roast beef, medium done Fiorentina stake and goat. A challenge for fish stew and aged cheeses.
